The University Partnership Scholarship is designed to enhance collaboration between educational institutions and facilitate continued higher education for students. It is offered to students from Universities and Colleges outside of the United States with whom American National University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding and certain Program Agreements. The University Transfer Scholarship is designed to enhance collaboration between educational institutions and facilitate continued higher education for international students. It is offered to students from Universities and Colleges or English as a Second Language programs within the United States with whom American National University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding and certain Program Agreements as needed (for academic institutions) and international F–1 students who transfer from United States institutions. The Program agreements may either relate to joint programs or to the acceptance of academic credits earned in certain other specific eligible programs.
To recognize the globalization of this institution as we near the end of the second decade of the 21st century, the Board of Directors has established the globalization scholarship. This scholarship establishes a fixed allâinclusive tuition rate for all graduateâlevel students enrolled at the institution beginning with the term 197 and continuing for all graduate students who enroll at the institution through June 27, 2020. The tuition rate of $304 per credit hour is hereby established for all students who are enrolled for Term 197 and subsequent terms through the end of June 2020. The parameters of the scholarship are applicable to any students who starts or continues their enrollment in any terms beginning at Term 197 or later, but before June 27, 2020. This tuition rate will remain in effect for those students during their continuous enrollment in the same program until their completion. This tuition rate includes all required technological fees, graduation fees, ancillary institutional charges, and books. No other institutional scholarships will be applicable to a student who is eligible for this globalization
The International Tuition Deposit Grant is designed to reward new international students who continue their education past the first term of studies. The purpose of the grant is to help international students to continue to work towards reaching their goal of obtaining a career education.
Eligibility: Each calendar year, new incoming international students who are enrolled in a program of study at American National University, have completed the first term and enrolled for the second term, qualify for this one–time grant, subject to availability of funding as described below.
Application Process: There is no application process for this grant. All new incoming international students who start their second term of study are eligible.
Award: Eligible students will be awarded the one–time grant amount up to the amount paid by the student for Matriculation fees. Grant payments are applied directly to students’ tuition and fee charges on their student accounts.
Continued Eligibility at American National University: No continued eligibility as this is a one–time grant.
The award year for the grant is defined as July 1st to June 30th. The total amount of funds allocated by American National University for the grant is $500,000 each award year. The availability of the grant will be evaluated at the end of each calendar year.
The Partnership for International Education Scholarship helps international students reach their goal of obtaining a career education at the post-secondary and graduate levels. Each calendar year the first 100 international students who have a F1 or M1 Visa and have completed the application process may qualify for this scholarship. Scholarship payments are applied directly to students’ tuition and fee charges on their student accounts each term, in amounts based upon their course load, up to $800.
The Joseph E. Hurn Scholarship is designed to recognize and award students who excel in their university studies. Funded by American National University, the Hurn Scholarship is based on academic merit alone.
